Born and raised in Victoria, Jen is so happy to have a career in professional theatre and be based on these lands. With a BFA in production from the University of Victoria, she has spent the past twenty five years working primarily as a Stage Manager, with over 85 professional credits in theatres big and small across the country. From touring small solo shows to stage managing world premiere musicals with Broadway & West End directors, Jen has worked often for the Belfry Theatre, Theatre Calgary, Electric Company Theatre, and Caravan Farm Theatre, among many others. The other side of her career has been as a theatre administrator – General Manager of Theatre SKAM 2001-2008, Associate Producer and Financial Manager of Electric Company Theatre, 2008 to present.

Having left full time stage management in 2022, she is currently the Finance Manager & Stage Management mentor at the Canadian College of Performing Arts. Jen is thrilled to now be working with future Stage Managers at UVic.
