Kästle understands the importance of undergraduate courses in shaping students’ perspectives and lives. Through supportive teaching practices that emphasize critical thinking and communication skills, she aims to help students succeed in their coursework and beyond. Kästle encourages all students to use the concepts, knowledge, and skills they learn in the classroom to better the lives of themselves and others.

Kästle is a lecturer in the Academic and Technical Writing Program as well as the Division of Continuing Studies at UVic. She teaches the following courses:
