Bethany Woodbridge is the Program Officer at CIFAL Victoria and a research associate for BIOSCAN Canada in the Department of Geography at the University of Victoria. Her responsibilities include managing CIFAL Victoria's communications, including liaising with partners, social media, and web design; supporting course certification and delivering certificates to CIFAL trainees; and assisting with research and grant development. 

Bethany has recently been awarded a Master's degree in Geography from the University of Victoria, conducting research exploring Indigenous environmental value systems through a case study conducted in partnership with T'Sou-ke First Nation examining the community's relationship with cedar trees. She first began working with CIFAL Victoria as a part-time communications coordinator while completing her graduate studies. With her degree completed, Bethany has now joined the team full-time as Program Officer. She also has continued to work as a research associate with BIOSCAN Canada, the team with whom she completed her graduate research, on ongoing environmental valuation and ecological management research with Indigenous communities on Vancouver Island.
