Nancy Nguyen (commerce)

A student stands in front of a building holding a Parks Canada water bottle.

UVic commerce student Nancy Nguyen joined the BC Parks team as a program assistant. She helped BC Parks provide high quality, safe outdoor recreation that protects the natural environment.

Making a difference

Nguyen conducted research about policy development, created communication materials and coordinated visitor-focused projects.

"Co-op students bring so much to the table, says Lisa Flegel, BC Parks' Recreation Business Specialist.

"They bring new ideas and help to challenge the way we've always done things, while creating space for innovation."
