What you will learn

This course is designed to demystify Artificial Intelligence (AI) with an emphasis on Generative AI (GenAI). It aims to equip leaders with fundamental AI literacy so that they can stay competitive in modern markets and begin to identify where the use case is for their organization and ensure that AI initiatives align with strategic business goals. The course prioritizes an applied approach over developing technical foundations.

By the end of this course learners will be able to:

  • understand what AI is and what it isn’t
  • articulate GenAI’s place in the AI landscape
  • understand the capabilities and limitations of AI tools
  • use prompting fundamentals to enhance their ability to interact with GenAI tools
  • begin to pinpoint where the potential AI use case for a particular organization is
  • appreciate how a human-centered approach to AI use can enhance organizations
  • ensure that appropriate guardrails are in place as organizations deploy AI tools, especially as it pertains to enterprise data
  • articulate the characteristics of organizations that have deployed AI successfully
  • define what it looks like to lead organization in the age of AI
  • facilitate effective communication skills between technical and non-technical teams/users

The former Associate Director of the world’s first premiere master’s business program to merge education in AI and technology with business fundamentals, Rishi also teaches and lectures in these areas in post-secondary education. As an extension of his work in the classroom, Rishi continues to lead and advocate for innovation and a critical dialogue around these issues within and beyond academia.
