Biography

I have been a part of this amazing community since November 2017! My position in the Office of Indigenous Academic and Community Engagement is as an Administrative Assistant.

I am from Tla-o-qui-aht First Nation with roots in the David and Frank families. My mother comes from a chief’s family on the Frank side. I have many cousins along the west coast with some I have never met.

I moved to Victoria to attend college after high school. I am a grateful visitor on the Lək̓ʷəŋən (Songhees and Esquimalt) Peoples and W̱SÁNEĆ Peoples territory. I lived in California and Washington for 15 years.

When you visit the First Peoples House, please come and say hello!
