Credits

Credits at KTH:

  • Full-time only: Select courses of 30 ECTS credits per semester (corresponding to full-time studies at KTH). Courses in Swedish language and society may be excluded from the 30 ECTS credit maximum.
  • Choose a minimum of 50 percent of the credits at the school to which you are applying
  • Meet the admission requirements for each course.

Course Evaluations at UVic: 

  • Once accepted, UVic exchange students will be able to submit KTH courses to UVic for evaluation. The results will indicate how many UVic units each KTH course is worth, as well as the course equivalency.
  • Students must use the evaluation results to ensure their KTH courses credits add up to the equivalent UVic units. 
  • This evaluation process opens in late September for Spring exchange terms and in late March for Fall exchange terms. Evaluations take 4-6 weeks for results to be made available. 
  • Course evaluations results are tentative until the end of the exchange term, when a final evaluation is conducted by UVic Records using your KTH transcript, and the results are applied to your UVic transcript.

  • After being accepted into the ICS Exchange Program, students will have the chance to submit exchange courses to UVic for evaluation. The results will provide updated unit and credit equivalency information.

KTH try to assist exchange students in finding housing during their studies; however, due to a difficult housing situation in Stockholm, they can only help some students.
When you apply for exchange studies at KTH, tick the box indicating that you want assistance finding accommodation, and KTH will get back to you.
