Faculty bio

I specialize in undergraduate teaching and often teach statistical methods in psychology, introductory psychology, and cultural psychology.

Broadly, I am interested in finding ways to facilitate student engagement and learning in large first-year courses (e.g., introductory psychology) and in courses that students may find daunting (e.g., statistics).

I am also interested in how cultural context and emotions shape student engagement and learning. As a teaching professor, I do not supervise graduate students.
