The Academic Advising Centre (AAC) informs its practice through engagement with NACADA: The Global Community for Academic Advising and the Council for Advancement of Standards (CAS).
The AAC has a dedicated academic advising consultant to support academic unit advisers (AUAs) and faculties with advising and curriculum questions.
Academic Advising 101 has been created to support UVic AUAs, faculty, and staff and includes the following topic areas:
