Ann R. Gibson Endowment

Born in Montreal, Ann Gibson lived in Brazil for eleven years, finished her education in the United Kingdom, and returned to Canada in 1963. Her father was an engineer and a major influence in her life, fostering a keen interest for how things work in his daughter. Ann was a nurse for 43 years, working in Ontario and Alberta before settling in Victoria in 1971.

She has given a lot of thought to her current charitable giving and estate plans and wishes to make this gift to the University to fulfill a need in our community and support higher education.
