After a brief illness, Dora (Doris) Adesserman, Devorah bas Yosef, passed away on Saturday March 27, 2021. Beloved daughter of the late Golda and Joe, she was predeceased by her sister Sarah and brother Aaron.

Born in Montreal, Doris came to Toronto in the 1980’s. She was a direct, down-to-earth individual who was a loyal friend. Doris was a life-long learner, with many interests. She was an artistic individual who enjoyed art, concerts and the ballet. Doris had a strong Jewish identity and enjoyed going to synagogue, whether to attend a service or hear a speaker. She also enjoyed attending programs at the Miles Nadel Centre. Doris valued the friendships she made in her building at 3636 Bathurst Street. She will be very missed by all her friends and those who had the privilege of knowing her.
