Brian Mackenzie Memorial Scholarship
Born in Vancouver, Brian Mackenzie graduated with a BA (Poli. Sci.) from the University of Victoria in 1989. Brian had a true passion for the oddities and quirkiness of political current events. Truth was always funnier than fiction, whether it was in the endless Presidential primaries or the curious dealings of local politicians.
Unfortunately, his wide group of friends lost his wit too early in life. But his friends agree that he would’ve liked to have provided food or drink money to fuel the debate of today’s political affairs or helped with rent money for a student that was walking in his footprints.
