CFUW Victoria Diana Morgan Humanities Scholarship

The Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW) was founded in 1908. It is a voluntary, non-partisan, non-profit, self-funded club of approximately 250 members. They are active in supporting higher education for women and in advocating for women's rights. This award is established by the CFUW Victoria Scholarship and Bursaiy Society through the generosity of Diana Morgan.

Diana Morgan, a long time member of CFUW, enthusiastically supported high standards of education for women. With her legacy, CFUW Victoria will continue Diana's passion.

Diana spent her early life in Kenya with her parents. In her early twenties Diana ventured to Canada. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts from Carleton University, Diana pursued a career as an elementary school teacher. Diana, with her late husband Trevor, retired to Victoria in the early '90s.
CFUW Victoria welcomed this dependable person with high standards of orderliness who was eager to serve the club.
