Social Justice Award

Diane Chisholm graduated from UVic in 1986 while overcoming an abusive childhood. She earned a master's degree in applied child psychology (University of Guelph). Diane's education led to her working as a psychologist with criminal offenders. She now focuses on helping governments develop policies and implementing best practices to promote public safety.

Diane believes in post-secondary education being accessible to everyone, regardless of income. She created the Social Justice Award for students who share her passion for promoting a safe and just society for children.
