Drina Fraser Davison Bursary

Drina Fraser Davison (1951 - 1987)

Drina was born in Vancouver, educated in Lake Cowichan and Victoria. She graduated from Simon Fraser University in 1974 and began her teaching career in Kamloops. Her father and grandmother were teachers, which probably influenced her career choice.

Her interest in special education led her to go on to a Masters degree from the University of Victoria in 1978. She was teaching special education and counselling at Arbutus Junior Secondary at the time of her death.

Drina was a fine teacher, a loving daughter, sister, and friend. She was wise, witty and fun. We will always miss her and are thankful for the time she was with us.
