Douglas Gibb Morton Memorial Bursary

Mr. John R. Morton wishes to establish this bursary in honour of his late brother, Douglas Gibb Morton, who recently passed away.

Doug Morton was the Dean of Fine Arts at the University of Victoria from 1980 to 1985 and was a highly regarded Professor at UVic.  He was best known as a member of The Regina Five, a group of innovative Saskatchewan painters in the early 1960’s.
