Elsa Stephens Scholarship in Nursing
This scholarship is being established by Mr. Judd Buchanan in memory of Elsa Stephens.
Elsa Stephens was a registered nurse who valued education although she never had the opportunity to finish a degree herself. She was a life long learner, pragmatic and down to earth who served for many years on the Greater Victoria Hospital Society Board.
Her friends described her as a force to be reckoned with and a larger than life figure who gave back to the community in her service and commitment.
