Fix Rugby Award

Mike Holmes and Roger Gay played rugby for UVic together in the early 1980s. As part of that experience, they travelled to various places playing rugby including a stint in France and a summer in Regina, SK.

While in Regina, they met the inimitable Karl Fix who inspired countless young rugby players to pursue their dreams including many who found a path to the UVic rugby program. Mike became a lawyer and then business owner, and Roger started and still owns and runs a successful import and export business in Mexico.
