ICBC Scholarship

The University of Victoria's School of Health Information Science is the first of its kind in Canada, presenting a program that will result in improving standard of care by increasing treatment knowledge, as well as being a resource for educating future hospital administrators within the province.

The objective of the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (ICBC) providing a scholarship is to assist a British Columbia resident who has indicated a desire to work within the province in achieving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Information Science. This will result in improving the health care system within the province, which ultimately will assist the Corporation with bodily injury claims.
