Joginder and Amrik Gill Bursary

Joginder and Amrik Gill immigrated to Canada in the early 1970s from a small village in India. Through hard work and determination they raised their four children (three of whom are UVic graduates) and established a new life and roots in Canada.

Amrik, a former employee with facility management at UVic, and Joginder, a small business owner, have always stressed the importance of education and philanthropy as a strong foundation for their children, who have created this bursary in their honor.
