Nellie Perry Bursary

Nellie Perry was born in London, England in 1903.  Her family moved to Canada when she was very young. 

She became a member of the Edmonton Commercial Grad Basketball team and participated in the 1924 Paris Olympics. 

The team was inducted into the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame in 1974.  She married, raised six children and spent the last 19 years of her life in Victoria, passing away in 1991.
