Peter Corless Mechanical Engineering Award

Born in England in 1951, Peter emigrated to Montreal in 1976 and met his wife Denyse. They moved to Vancouver in 1979 where he continued a career in engineering, acquiring Enermax Fabricators in 1998, an ASME certified fabricator specializing in the design and manufacture of high quality tube and shell heat exchangers and other pressure vessels.

He retired from what became EM Manufacturing Ltd in 2009 and enjoyed his passion for sailing. Peter often hired co-op students and UVic mechanical engineering graduates and believed they were excellent additions to his team.
