Peter Ciceri is an economics alumnus and the recipient of the UVic Distinguished Alumni Award (2000).  He has held the following positions during his career: Regional Director Sales and Marketing, Hewlett Packard Asia Pacific Ltd.; VP and Managing Director, Tandem Asia Pacific Ltd.; President and Managing Director, Compaq Canada Inc.  

He was instrumental in facilitating a large gift of computer software from Compaq to the Department of Economics. He currently lives with his family in Whistler and works as a Corporate Director, including Lead Independent Director for Sierra Wireless Ltd. and MDSI Mobile Data Solutions. 

Peter also has a Senior Executive Coaching practice and he is completing his Masters in Counseling Psychology from UBC.
