Ron C. Wells Geological Award
The Ronald C. Wells Fund is set up in the memory of Ronald C. Wells, PGeo, FGAC. Ron, who passed away in 2007, was a respected mineral exploration geologist and president of Kamloops Geological Services Ltd. As long-serving president and volunteer with the Kamloops Exploration Group, he was well known for his passion and support of public and academic geological education.
Through the generous donations of Ron's friends and the exploration community, a permanent endowment has been established with the BC Interior Community Foundation, a public charitable foundation.
