Roberta Evelyn Milnes Scholarship
Roberta Evelyn Milnes was born in Toronto, Ontario in 1927. She never had the opportunity to further her education as her father died when she was in her teens and she worked for most of her high school years, helping to support her family.
She was married shortly after WWII and raised 5 children in short order. She read widely, loved art and traveled later in life. S
he would have loved to have been able to pursue a university degree. Her children are establishing this award in her memory.
