Simon Ibell Vikes Inspiration Award

Simon Ibell, the founder of the iBellieve Foundation, passed away on May 26, 2017. A truly remarkable and inspirational individual, Simon was an advocate for human potential, a role model for persons with disabilities and a crusader for the rare disease community.

Receiving his degree in sports administration at the University of Victoria in June 2002, Simon was also a sought after speaker on human potential and overcoming obstacles.

He was awarded the Spirit of Sport Story of the Year Award at the Canadian Sport Awards, and the Queen's Golden Jubilee Commemorative Medal for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

In 2012 he received both the St. Michaels University School Distinguished Alumni Award and the University of Victoria Distinguished Alumni Award.
