Charles and Lois Stockey Endowment Fund

Lois and her husband, philanthropist Charles Wilson Stockey, were founding members of The Steinway Family at UVic, and held music recitals for young musicians in their home. Lois was a regular donor between 2007 and 2015 to music and to the Vikes Championship Breakfast in support of Swimming.

Lois graduated as an RN from Milwaukee Hospital School of Nursing in 1948, followed by achieving her BSN from Marquette University. She treasured her nursing experiences and avidly read the American Journal of Nursing. She also loved the arts, music in particular, and believed strongly in philanthropy.

The endowment was established by a gift from the Estate of Lois Audrey Voigt.
