Terry J. Wuester Graduation Award in Law

Terry J. Wuester Graduation Award in Law was established by the family, friends and former students of Terry J. Wuester in recognition of his outstanding abilities and contributions as a Professor of Law from 1975 (when the Law Faculty was founded) until his untimely death in 1996.

The "Woo", as he was popularly known, extolled excellence in his students; and he, himself, was awarded the Master Teacher Award five times by law students, was recognized by the University of Victoria Alumni Association for Excellence in Teaching and honoured at his final convocation in June, 1996, with the William Paul McClure Kennedy award, presented annually to one outstanding law teacher in Canada.
