This endowment was established by the Victoria Chartered Accountants Association. The association provided opportunities for local chartered accountants to network and support charitable causes through annual fees, golf tournaments and other activities.

The Victoria Chartered Accountants Association members have generously supported University of Victoria students pursuing their professional designation in accounting since 1996. The amalgamation of associations representing different aspects of the profession means that the Victoria Chartered Accountants Association will be disbanded by the end of the 2014.

The creation of this endowment will ensure that their original intent in supporting students will continue in perpetuity.
