Victoria Natural History Society Samuel Simco Undergraduate Bursary

The Victoria Natural History Society (VNHS), formed in 1944, is a volunteer-run organization dedicated to creating opportunities for its members to learn about our local nature. These include field trips, special events, and speaker presentations. It also advocates on behalf of local nature protection. The primary objectives of the Society are:

  • To stimulate active interest in natural history
  • To study and protect flora and fauna and their habitats
  • To work with other societies and like bodies having interests in common with this Society.

VNHS is registered as a non-profit society and charitable organization and a member organization of BC Nature (The Federation of British Columbia Naturalists).
