Academic calendars
The official academic year begins on May 1.
The UVic academic calendar is published three times per year: in the spring (effective May 1), summer (effective September 1) and winter (effective January 1).
We reserve the right to revise or cancel any rule or regulation published in the calendar or its supplements at any time.
