The New Student Welcome Event opens our full day of programming for all new undergraduate students! You will start the day with peers from all faculties, official welcomes from our President and a treasured Elder, and learn from the experiences of current UVic students. Join us to meet Thunder, cheer on student performances, and make first connections on campus. We can't wait to kick off your UVic journey together!
This event is for all new undergraduate students.
Accessibility

Some considerations for accessibility at the New Student Welcome event include:- The event takes place in the CARSA performance gym, of a wheelchair accessible building, a. A ramp to access the space is located by the main CARSA entrance.
- The welcome event is busy, and the surrounding environment may be loud and crowded.
- We will be using a large screen for student engagement activities.
- We will not be providing food and drinks at this event. There are water fountains for you to fill up your water bottle. There is a respite space in the building.
- Two gender neutral single stall washrooms are located at the main CARSA entrance
- ASL interpretation will be available at this event.
