Bio

Fatemeh joined the Department of Economics in the summer of 2016. Before joining the department, she taught at University of Fraser Valley (UFV). She received her PhD from Simon Fraser University.

Dr. Mokhtarzadeh’s research is focused on studying the expectation formation in a controlled laboratory environment. In her recent work, she has examined how economic agent's expectations of inflation and output are influenced by central bank forward guidance policy within a learning-to-forecast laboratory macroeconomic environment.
