Resources for ECON students

The UVic students’ site is your source for student supports across campus.

Department policies are guided by the academic calendar, particularly the section on undergraduate academic regulations.

Economics tutoring

Do you need help with your course work?

You should first go to your instructor and teaching assistant (TA). TAs are graduate students hired to help instructors. It’s their job to help prepare course material, grade assignments, conducting labs and hold office hours to help.

If you’re registered in ECON 103 or ECON 104 you can go to the Help Centre in BEC 341. It’s run by TAs and hours vary each term. Check the schedule posted outside the room.
