Mengxia is a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at the University of Victoria, specializing in sustainable finance, financial risk management, and responsible investment. She holds an M.A. in Economics from UVic and an M.S. in Financial Risk Management from the University of Connecticut. Her research focuses on integrating environmental and social governance principles and the UN's Sustainable Development Goals into financial practices.
