 An informal discussion will follow the screening with toddlers and youth about the themes explored in the film. Film in French, subtitled in English. A light snack will be offered to the audience.

Thursday, February 22, 2024, 7 p.m.: screening of the film The Intouchables
Location: Cinecenta
Following the film screening, a panel discussion will be held, featuring two professors from the University of Victoria, a member of the Société francophone de Victoria, and a member of the executive committee of the African and Caribbean Students' Association of the University of Victoria. The panel discussion will be recorded. Film in French, subtitled in English. A snack will be provided to the audience.

Friday, February 23, 2024, 7 p.m.: concert by jazz singer Dominique Fils-Aimé
Location: Victoria Jazz Society
The Department of French and Francophone Studies is proud to partner with the Victoria Jazz Society to highlight the concert by Dominique Fils-Aimé, the legendary jazz, R&B and soul singer from Montreal.
