is operated by the non-profit Victoria Russian School Society and supported by a dedicated team of volunteer board members, administrators, and educators. Since January 2014, the school has received support from the Faculty of Humanities.

Language and arts classes for children aged 3 to 16 are held on Saturdays in the University of Victoria's Clearihue Building. All classes are conducted in Russian. Students in UVic’s Russian program benefit from various language immersion opportunities: they may visit the school on Saturdays to complete language projects for upper-level Russian courses, volunteer to enhance their language skills while gaining practical experience, or even begin a career in education as teaching assistants.
